Jewels of Wisdom is dedicated to honouring the creative spirit in its varied and beautiful forms.

...

I exhibit and sell artwork of spiritual integrity from a lovely little market-town Devizes in Wiltshire said to host one of the oldest markets in England, so the story goes.

The majority of larger pieces currently housed at Jewels of Wisdom are

my dear father Roy White's colletion of oils and watercolours, painted from around the 1960's, right up to 2013. Dad really was a Master of Art displaying raw talent from a young age and who, alongside my dear Mum, instilled in me the love for a true spiritual path. 

~

Below you can see a few pieces - pencil, oils and pastel drawing - alongside yogi me.

The floating figure in cornfields is an oil painting of Lau Tzu that Roy undertook in his later years, and who my father referred to as his inner spiritual mentor. 

Lau Tzu was a Chinese master and sage who spoke of the ineffable 

'Tao that cannot be named' in his great work, 

the Tao Te Ching.

Below the pictures are two documentaries free for your enjoyment and interest. 

The fist, commisioned not long before Roy died, documents his journey through life as an artist, carefully and expertly drawn out by a Sufi film-maker. 

In the second, made a while after he passed on, Lindie reflects on life alongside

"the artist" over a 30 year chapter of  love and commitment in marriage.
